Miniature golf is a popular outdoor activity throughout Long Island. Whether with family or friends, young and old, there is something charming about low-stress, inventive mini-golf courses.
The Island is full of such places, both outdoor and indoor, where residents can explore and have a great time out. Below are just eight of some of the mini-golf spots Long Island has to offer.
Five Towns Mini-Golf & Batting Range, Lawrence
Five Towns Mini-Golf and Batting Range has been in operation for 44 years. This family-based environment offers some of the Island’s best mini-golf, with an extensive 18-hole outdoor course, as well as a popular batting range.
The 18-hole course features well-kept, natural scenery with a variety of simple and winding greens. There are also several other family-fun activities. Families can find an arcade, and even target paintball on site. Parties are also welcome.

Tiki Action Park, Centereach
Tiki Action Park is a popular Long Island amusem*nt park with various amenities and family-friendly entertainment. The park is well known for its go-karting, as well as its mini-golf, which is often considered one of the Island’s best.
The course’s layout, according to Tiki Action Park themselves, allows mini-golfers to “feel like you’re on vacation,” with its inviting tropical theme. Holes are alongside waterfalls, ponds, streams, and other nature sites. The park also includes a large arcade and an exciting Laser Maze.

Monster Mini Golf, Deer Park
Monster Mini Golf is a large indoor miniature golfing complex featuring some of the most creative and unique courses on Long Island. With consistently fun theming featuring monsters, aliens, and other creative golfing delights, families and friends will have a great time exploring their courses.
The park is best suited for older children considering the theming. The arcade is also a popular area, but mini-golfing takes precedence. As for what one can find in these courses, there are several animatronics as well as a range of different holes from easier to more challenging.

Sayville Falls Mini Golf, Sayville
Sayville Falls Mini Golf is a fun, family-friendly, and entertaining locale with some great courses for their patrons to enjoy. Offered at Sayville Falls are also popular camp activities, as well as birthday parties when possible.
The 18-hole course winds around and through a cavernous waterfall and pond area. Flowing water is a constant, giving a serene and relaxing experience to those who brave the course. The holes vary; some with challenging curves, and others with their own small twists.

Mini Golf at Eisenhower Park, East Meadow
Eisenhower Park is a Nassau County park filled to the brim with outdoor activities. Among them is, of course, a mini-golf course, one of the park’s most popular destinations. Also featured is a batting cage, three major golf courses, trails, and more.
Particularly great for children and families, the park’s 18-hole mini-golf course is located near the Nassau County Aquatic Center. The course features a waterfall, ponds, and is well-kept.

Children’s Museum of the East End, Bridgehampton
The Children’s Museum of the East End is already a great place for families and children to visit. With a mission towards education and the sciences, it stands to reason that their fun miniature golf course would follow that same goal.
The museum’s modest golf course is one of the most unique around, teaching basic scientific concepts along the way. The nine-hole course is also included as part of museum membership, allowing for regular visitors to always take advantage.

Pirate Adventure Mini Golf at Bayville Adventure Park, Bayville
One of Long Island’s most beloved amusem*nt parks, Bayville Adventure Park, has been welcoming patrons to its pirate-themed mini-golf course for years now. This aspect of the park is a fan favorite and is a perfect summertime destination to enjoy a day out among the unique scenery.
The course includes some of the strongest theming among other LI courses, with a sunken pirate ship, waterfalls, and various other pirate-based scenery. The surrounding area is full of amenities, including food vendors and other attractions.

Glowgolf, Garden City
Glowgolf in Roosevelt Field Mall, Garden City, is one of the more unique mini-golf courses on Long Island. This indoor complex features 28 holes, all within a glow-in-the-dark, black light-filled atmosphere.
There is a wide variety among the different holes to be found. Some are more straightforward, while others have mechanical features, such as a windmill and more. Much of what makes mini-golf so much fun can be found here, though Glowgolf’s own unique twists.
